Here are a few ways I’ve been working with people recently, and how I can help you:

1. Preparation for exams/auditions for music conservatoires. Refining performance pieces & meeting the requirements of the auditions at Guildhall, Trinity, Royal Academy, etc.
2. Style study blocks – focusing on a specific player for a group of lessons covering transcriptions, language, style, developing ideas for your own playing.
3. A one off ‘give me some ideas!’ lesson.
4. Technique blocks – focusing on a specific technique for a group of lessons. E.g., improving alternate picking.
5. Working through a book – I’ve worked with people who wanted to go through a particular method with me, e.g: The Berklee Method books, Harmony & Theory, Hal Crook, etc. It’s super useful to have a target and someone to clarify/question/expand on whatever method you’re interested in working though.
6. Learning tunes. Anything from learning standards, contemporary jazz tunes, Beatles tunes, Holdsworth, Black Sabbath, The Police, John Renbourne, Stevie Wonder, etc. I know kazillions of tunes so very happy to help you learn them!

The lessons are at my studio in Ealing, West London, or Online (via Skype/Zoom)

It’s £60 for the hour. Payment is via BACS/PayPal
